Bertinoro-based interior designer, chef, author, and creative director, Mouni Grasso is the founder and CEO of lifestyle brand Collagenec a refined concept rooted in the union of wellness, design, and nourishing food rituals. With a background that bridges traditional craftsmanship and cinematic storytelling, Mouni’s journey is as layered and intentional as her table settings.

 

Born into a family of makers and visionaries, Mouni’s path began in Marrakech, where she worked alongside her father in the world of interiors starting in 2010.

 

Her early years were shaped by the tactile beauty of Moroccan design, the intimacy of handmade objects, and the poetry of everyday spaces. These formative experiences led her into events and styling and eventually into the film industry in Los Angeles, where she worked as an executive producer, collaborating with industry legends such as Branko Lustig (Schindler’s List, Gladiator) and David Winter. But it was in food where everything truly came together.

 

Returning to her roots, Mouni opened Dar Mounia, a refined culinary destination in Warsaw, Poland. Known for its elegant Moroccan-inspired dishes and intimate dining atmosphere, the restaurant quickly drew international acclaim hosting diplomats, creatives, and global personalities. Dar Mounia was more than a restaurant; it was a living expression of Mouni’s vision: that food, beauty, and health are inseparable.

 

After the pandemic, she returned to Marrakech with a renewed sense of purpose, beginning what would become the foundation of her next chapter.

 

Just before the devastating earthquake, a short holiday in Italy brought her to her second home in Bertinoro a haven of simplicity and nature where she decided to stay and rebuild from stillness.There, Collagenec was born.

 

A project close to her heart, Collagenec is both a lifestyle and a philosophy one that celebrates the quiet luxury of health, elemental food, and soulful design. Through her 30-day Collagen Marathon Diet, Mouni shares collagen-rich recipes, handcrafted tablescapes, and nourishment rituals that fuse ancient tradition with minimalist elegance.As a woman who has shaped environments in film, design, and cuisine, Mouni brings a multidisciplinary approach to every element of Collagenec.
